This is how a BM Exhaust system is made, from the first cut to the heat-resistant lacquer.
1. Design
The resonator geometry is dimensioned to the cylinder displacement and to the rev range you want.
2. Cutting and bending
From 0.8 mm steel sheet, section by section.
3. Welding
Hand welding, with continuous fit checking.
4. Surface finishing
A heat-resistant lacquer coating that gives lasting protection against rust.
5. Test fitting and packaging
Fit check on the target engine, then protective packaging.
